Biography
Dr. Ahmad is a California licensed Naturopathic Doctor (N.D.) and has been referred to in the past by his peers as “doctor squared” because he also completed a medical doctorate degree (M.D.) from Saint George’s University in Grenada and Saint Vincent of the West Indies in the Caribbean Sea. He completed his Naturopathy training from the Southwest College of Naturopathic Medicine in Tempe, Arizona after going through the full allopathic medicine program. Being born and raised in central New Jersey, Dr. Ahmad attended Princeton High School and also received a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Biology with minors in Business Marketing and Chemistry from the College of New Jersey followed by a Master’s of Science degree in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology with a specialization in Biotechnology from Georgetown University Medical Center. Dr. Ahmad has a passion for offering all forms of treatment for his patients whether using botanical/herbal remedies related to Ayurvedic medicine (ancient Indian subcontinent), pain management/sports medicine using regenerative injections such as prolotherapy or platelet-rich-plasma (PRP), and nutritional IVs. He is also very knowledgeable about pharmacology and understands the inner workings of the hospital setting due to his prior training and exposure in such systems-based areas including orthopedic medicine, infectious diseases, and allergy/immunology.
