Biography
Dr. Allred is a graduate from Western States University in Portland Oregon. He has always had a fascination with the body and its miraculous ability to function and heal. I have always considered my self to be healthy and in good function. While attending college I started to lose weight, my energy was very low and I lost 30 pounds. After attending many doctors visits, I was diagnosed with hyperthyroidism. The doctor gave me three choices drugs, surgical removal of the thyroid, or radiation treatment. I decided to take the drug. After taking the drug for a few months I didn’t notice much of any improvement. At that point I started my quest into finding a doctor who would treat the whole person the whole body and not just the symptoms. I started going to the chiropractor for spinal adjustments, which seem to offer me quite a bit of relief. I later came across another chiropractor that was more of a holistic whole body chiropractor in that he offered nutritional advice as well. After seeing him for two treatments I felt a dramatic change practically overnight. I got my energy back I was sleeping better and started to gain my weight back. None of these symptoms improved before hand while I was taking the medication. The new chiropractor recommended that I take nutritional supplements, homeopathic remedies and continue my chiropractic treatments. This process totally and completely changed my health. I stopped taking all the medications that the doctor prescribed and pursued natural methods. I have not taken any medications for 20 years now only my natural supplements and doing my natural therapies. I was so happy with the outcome that I decided to make chiropractic and natural treatments my career.
