Biography
John Barnett has a unique background and training. He did his undergraduate studies in physics at the University of Florida. He then went to California to study at the prestigious Yo San University. Yo San was founded by two brothers who have over 37 generations of family lineage in Chinese Medicine. John has worked with other health care professionals including Physical therapists, Massage therapists, chiropractors, and M.D.s to expand the field of Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine.
John’s training in Chinese herbs is uncommon in Florida. He often makes custom herb formulas for patients when their conditions require more intensive treatment. He also teaches Tai-Ji / Qi Gong and gives Health Talks on a variety of subjects in the community on a regular basis.
