Biography
Merle Friedman, AP, LD/N, is a board certified acupuncture physician and a licensed dietitian and nutritionist. Merle graduated from the Florida College of Integrative Medicine in Orlando. She has advanced training in auricular (ear) medicine. Merle trained with the world renowned Chinese physician Dr. Li-Chun Huang for three years, and was awarded the title Master of Auricular Medicine. Auricular medicine is a method of detecting and treating conditions. Merle is dedicated to helping people prevent disease and improve their health with natural medicine.
Merle has thirty years of experience as a health practitioner. Her patients enjoy personalized, compassionate care in a tranquil atmosphere. She specializes in medical nutrition therapy, anti-aging therapies, homeopathy and traditional Chinese medicine. She also provides cutting-edge therapies such as acupoint injections, detoxification, and electro-dermal screening.
Affiliation with professional associations include: active member of the American Dietetic Association and FSOMA (Florida State Oriental Medicine Association).
