Biography

Cynthia-Ann Lee Hayes-Hurst attended the prestigious Atlantic Institute of Oriental Medicine and received her Master of Oriental Medicine Degree in 2017. She also holds degrees in Respiratory Therapy (1993) and Massage Therapy (1995). She has worked in both acute inpatient Cardiopulmonary Critical Care and outpatient cardiac and pulmonary rehabilitation since 1991. She created Serendipity Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork in 2004 to provide health and wellness services to the community and integrated Acupuncture and Herbal Medicine into her practice in 2017.

Her training includes Shaolin Temple Medical internship 8/2016. She has volunteered at the Light of the World Clinic in Broward County 2014-2017 and at the Hands Clinic of St. Lucie County 2016-present caring for patients that otherwise could not afford care. Currently she engaged in a hospital internship at Martin Health Systems in Stuart, FL (which is now affiliated with Cleveland Clinic) where she trains in the Emergency Department and Pulmonary Medicine. She continues to further her professional education at Atlantic Institute of Oriental Medicine and is in her final year of studies to receive her Doctorate in Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine, graduation 8/2019.
