Biography
Caroline Maruya is a licensed acupuncturist and herbalist who is trained in numerous techniques. She combines Traditional Chinese Medicine and massage to treat a variety of ailments.
Caroline received her Master’s degree from Emperor’s College of Traditional Oriental Medicine in Santa Monica, California, and has been practicing Traditional Chinese Medicine for over 10 years.Subsequent to earning her Master’s degree, Caroline has furthered her expertise by successfully completing specialized courses for facial rejuvenation acupuncture and attaining certification in massage therapy. She has also received extensive training in orthopedics through a program which she collaborated with several MDs from Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles, California
Although Caroline treats a variety of physical and emotional ailments, she holds a special interest in sports injuries, because of her own passion and experience in physical activities.
