Biography
My interest in Medical Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine started in 1981 while practicing Family Medicine on the coast of Washington State. With a solid background and training in the neurosciences, I was looking for safer and more effective ways to help patients manage chronic pain. I am one of the founding members of the American Academy of Medical Acupuncture and am one of its first Fellows. I have particular expertise in Pain Management and have been a longstanding member and diplomat of the American Academy of Integrative Pain Management.
