Biography
After high school John spent a year in VISTA, (Volunteers in Service to America) working with the “Black Hats” forest fire fighters, and the Ogalala Sioux Indians, in Rapid City, SD. John then enlisted in the United States Air Force working as a Medical Laboratory Technologist at Wilford Hall Hospital, the largest Air Force hospital in the world. While working at Wilford Hall, John began conducting research, in lipoprotein electrophoresis. After being discharged from the service, he continued doing research, this time in tumor and transplantation immunology, both basic science and clinical research, at the Blood Center of Southeastern Wisconsin, and the Medical College of Wisconsin. At this time, John also began studies at UWM (University of Wisconsin Milwaukee) in premed, and eventually transferred to the Midwest College of Oriental Medicine to complete his degree in Acupuncture. While studying at the Midwest College of Oriental Medicine, John went to China to participate in advanced clinical training, from the Guangzhou International Training Center of Traditional Chinese Medicine. After graduation he passed the National Boards NCCAOM and began teaching classes for the Midwest College of Oriental Medicine and worked as an administrator for the college. John has been in private practice for almost 30 years and has given over 50,000 treatments. John uses many therapeutic modalities to help his patient’s. A partial list includes CK (Clinical Kinesiology), LASER, PEMF (Pulsed Electro Magnetic Frequency), FSM (Frequency Specific Micro-Current), Oxygen, Herbs, and many different Nutritional Supplements, of which Wei Herbals are a primary or core component. John is also a CFIIM (Certified Flight Instructor), and former charter pilot. He is currently building a Whitman Tailwind airplane.
