Biography
Michael Vahila is a National Board Certified Acupuncturist. He graduated in 2005 from the American Institute of Alternative Medicine. In addition to being a licensed acupuncturist, he has been a licensed massage therapist and certified neuromuscular therapist since 1996. Rounding out his skills in the healing arts is his training in The Usui System of Natural Healing as a Traditional Reiki Master since 1993. In 1999 he was recruited to develop and teach the massage therapy program at Stark State College in Canton. In addition to teaching the massage therapy program for over 15 years, he teaches advanced seminars to health professionals in Auricular Therapy and Reiki.
Mr. Vahila specializes in difficult cases using an integrated approach of hands-on therapies and nutritional support. Using the AcuGraph® meridian analysis system, he brings acupuncture into the 21st century. The Acugraph® provides a scientific measurement of the energy level in each meridian. This analysis leads to precise and effective treatment. Treatments employ an eclectic approach and may include acupuncture, cupping, massage therapy, myofascial release, Reiki, laser or micro-current stimulation depending on the needs of the patient.
